Oregano is a perennial herb that can grow to a height in excess of 2 feet. The leaves are used fresh or dried, particularly as a flavoring in Italian dishes. Stronger fragrance and flavor than Greek Oregano.

Seed Planting Depth: on surface, lightly press in

Starting Indoors/Outdoors:  Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Provide 70-75 degree soil temperatures. Transplant 12-15" apart. Sow outdoors in spring after last frost. Sow a few seeds every 4-6 ", thin to 12-15" apart.

Soil Needs: Oregano needs average to sandy, well drained soil
